Many distributors don’t understand the difference between the inviting step and the presenting step and as such they wonder why their business isn’t growing. To be effective you need to be tracking how many people you are inviting on a daily basis (I refer to this as an exposure) as well as how many people you are presenting to on a daily basis (I refer to this as a presentation). If you are talking to a lot of people but no exposures are taking place, you are probably not doing a good job at prospecting the right people. If you are doing a lot of exposures but no presentations, you need to work at getting the presentation. Tracking your numbers allows you to see what the problem is instead of just saying it’s not working.
