Wealth and Success in 4 Easy Steps
The following video by Jack Canfield sums up a very powerful process that can lead to you to wherever it is you want to go.
When training my team on this concept, I myself like to say Dream, Believe, Decide, and then ACT! You can achieve whatever it is that you put your mind to.

Building Your Psychological Armor
Rejection is the toughest obstacle we face in network marketing and yet how we handle it is the most critical part of our success. There is no question in my mind that some of our most talented people are lost each year to rejection. It is something we struggle with each day, not only for ourselves but for our people in order to keep them in the game.
That is why it is so important that we prepare ourselves and our distributors from the very beginning. I call it “building your psychological armor.” I want them to envision wearing a suit of armor that protects them against all projectiles including that most painful two letter word: no.
I teach early on that no is a requirement for success. It is the price we pay. None of us are perfect enough to get all yeses nor are we imperfect enough to get all nos. The major shift psychologically is to understand that you get paid for no as well as yes. So embrace them. The only difference between those most successful and those that are not is who tolerated the most rejection and disappointments.
I coined the phrase years ago “success is in the show.” I wanted people to understand that success was not how many times people said yes or no, but how many times you showed your product and your opportunity. In my book, yes and no are equal. If you show your product to nine people who say no and a 10th person who says yes and you make a $100, it is important to understand, you did not make $100 on the 10th person; you made $10 every time you showed the product. Therefore the no was just as valuable as the yes.
I find it amazing how much easier people in conventional businesses accept rejection. Have you ever walked into a retail store, looked around, then walked out without buying anything? Sure you have! Did you hear a loud thud from behind the counter as the owner collapsed in disappointment? Of course not! Why? They understand the numbers. They know that out of so many nos there will be so many yeses. Why do you think store owners move to high traffic locations, like malls? To get more nos and as a result they get more yeses. Successful real estate people understand the same concept. They know how many times they need to show a property to get a serious buyer.
Because you get paid for rejection it is important that you are well–prepared. Building that psychological armor is extremely important especially in the early phases since nos kill more salespeople than anything else. Think about it, companies don’t send their salespeople out unprepared. They spend weeks in preparation. Coaches don’t send their players out unprepared, not if they want them to succeed.
There are a number ways to build psychological armor.
1. Work hard to de–sensitize yourself to the word no. Study the law of averages to understand that the value of no and yes are equal.
2. Build strong belief in your company and your product to the point it becomes a mission, a cause. Strong belief and commitment will help make you more resilient.
3. Concentrate on keeping a laser focus on your purpose and goals, allowing nothing to deter your path. Internalized goals are the most powerful.
4. Constantly remind yourself of the most successful people you admire and how strong they have been to push through the same wall of nos as you. Let them in spire and motivate you. Imagine as well how your success will inspire them.
5. Keep yourself motivated by watching, listening and reading only positive material that keeps you strong. Hang with people of like–minded vision.
6. Use motivational music to keep your emotions close at hand and on purpose.
7. Mentally envision your self wrapped in a suit of armor where you are protected and safe. Where no one can hurt you no matter what they say.
8. Know when to take a break and recharge. At the slightest sign of weakness, stop and listen to a tape, a CD or a mentor until you are back on top of your game.
Preparation is critical, but understand, it is an ongoing process. It is how you stay sharp, strong and focused. Sports teams prepare and practice throughout the week to face their opponents. It is no different for a network marketer. How you handle rejection will determine your success in network marketing and how you handle rejection is all in the preparation.

Network Marketing To Grow Your Life, Not Only Your Business
Network Marketing To Grow Your Life, Not Only Your Business
When most people first find out about Network Marketing, they’re so excited to finally be able to reach their dreams and get out of their dead end job where their boss couldn’t care less about how much they’re making and actually wish they could pay them less and less every year instead of more.
Who wouldn’t jump at the chance to make 6 figure monthly incomes? Is that ever possible with your current employer? Not a chance.
What they’re not willing to tell you at those meetings is the education that is involved with a business opportunity or home based business.
Well, you may or may not have come across what I consider to be the single most important piece of information for anyone who is looking to accept responsibility for their own life and live the lifestyle of their dreams in the Network Marketing-Home Based Business Industry. And here it is.
When Napoleon Hill was being coached by Andrew Carnegie 60 years ago, Napoleon was not exactly prepared to take on the incredible task of traveling around the country to interview all of the nation’s top business men and ask them to reveal the information which made them so successful. He feared he was not the right person to give the world the first practical philosophy on personal success due to his youth, lack of education and lack of finances.
Mr. Carnegie delivered a lecture so powerful at the very instant that it completely changed Napoleon Hill’s life from that moment forward. With it, changing the course of human history from a place of mental confusion and replacing it with mental mastery. This single explanation is responsible for the overwhelming success of Napoleon’s inspiring books and lectures the world over.
This was Mr. Carnegie response to Napoleon. “Let me call to your attention a great power which is under your control, a power which is greater than poverty, greater than the lack of education, greater than all of your fears and superstitions combined. It is the power to take possession of your own mind and direct it to whatever ends you may desire”. “This profound power”, Mr. Carnegie continued, “is the gift of the Creator and it must have been considered the greatest of all his gifts to man because it is the only thing over which man has the complete and unchallengeable right of control and direction . When you speak of your poverty and lack of education, you are simply directing your mind power to attract these undesirable circumstances. Because it is true that whatever your mind feeds upon, your mind attracts to you. Now you see why it is important that you recognize that all success begins with definiteness of purpose with a clear picture in your mind of precisely what you want from life”.
Then Mr. Carnegie continued his speech with a description of a great universal truth which made such a impact on Napoleon’s mind that he begin then and there to give himself a new outlook on life and set up for himself a goal so far above his previous achievements that it shocked his friends and relatives when they heard about it. Sound familiar?
“Everyone comes to this earth plane blessed with the privilege of controlling his mind power and directing it to whatever ends he may choose. But everyone brings over with him at birth the equivalent of two sealed envelopes. One of which is clearly labeled The Riches You May Enjoy If You Take Possession Of Your Own Mind And Direct It To Ends Of Your Choice and the other is labeled The Penalties You Must Pay If You Neglect To Take Possession Of Your Mind And Direct It.”
Now let me reveal to you to contents of those two sealed envelopes.
In the one labeled riches is this list of blessings:
1. Sound Health
2. Peace Of Mind
3. A Labor Of Love Of Your Own Choice
4. Freedom From Fear and Worry
5. A Positive Mental Attitude
6. Material Riches Of Your Own Choice And Quantity
In the sealed envelope labeled penalties is this list of the prices one must pay for neglecting to take possession of your own mind
1. ill Health
2. Fear and Worry
3. Indecision and Doubt
4. Frustration and Discouragement Throughout Life
5. Poverty and Want
6. A Whole Flock Of Evils Consisting of Envy,Greed,Jealousy, Anger,Hatred and Superstition
Napoleon Hill’s goal was to deliver this message to as many people as he could. There is no greater decision in your life then the one you are faced with right at this moment. You can choose to do this exercise or you can choose not to. This results will clearly be determined in whatever form your life takes from this moment on.
His advice is as follows:
1. Write down a clear description of your major desire in life. The one circumstance or position or thing in which you’d be willing to accept as your idea of success. And remember before you begin writing that your only limitations are only those which you set up in your own mind or permit others to set up for you.
2. On a second page write down a clear statement of precisely what you intend to give in return for that which you desire from life. Then start in right where you stand now to begin giving.
3. Memorize both your statements, what you desire and what you intend to give in return for it and repeat them at least 12 times daily and always end your statements with this expression of gratitude for the blessing with which your were given at birth
“Oh Divine Providence, I ask not for more riches, but more wisdom with which to make wiser use of the riches you gave me at birth consisting in the power to control and direct my own mind to whatever ends I desire”.-Napolean Hill
10 Powerful Prospecting Tips For Your Network Marketing Business
10 Powerful Prospecting Tips For Your Network Marketing Business
Networking has been a fascinating business avenue these days of rapid globalization and cross country businesses. An effective network marketer should learn the art of contacting people and exposing them to their information. Remember the importance of letting your tools do the selling for you. The following are tips for powerful prospecting.
1. Build a rock solid belief in network marketing, your company, and yourself.
2. Prospect from a mental position of prosperity and abundance…and convey this position to your prospect in the first 5-10 seconds on the phone.
3. Never chase people or attempt to convince people. Million dollar leaders don’t need any one specific individual to build an empire.
4. Convince yourself that you are offering people the best opportunity in the world…and then convey that to them in a powerful and dramatic way.
5. Don’t continue to prospect family and friends that have given you a firm no answer unless you are willing to jeopardize your relationships. Ask them to be customers and give you referrals instead.
6. Always keep at least 300-500 names on your prospect list.
7. Use lists of people in which you have some kind of connection and credibility.
8. Only use the phone to set up appointments. Nothing will ever replace the emotional connection created face to face in a one on one. Network marketing is driven by relationships, and if you don’t create them in the beginning, your business becomes a commodity, and commodity’s are vulnerable.
9. Use proven, tested, and prepared scripts when you are booking appointments by phone, and learn delivery techniques that are used by the pros. Million-dollar leaders are risk adverse and don’t leave anything to chance.
10. Learn the secrets that professional performers use to build fortunes, and follow them to the letter. 90% percent of prospecting is a mental game and you need to have the right tools to play in the big leagues.
The Struggles Of Being An Entrepreneur In The Network Marketing Industry
This article was written by my friend and business partner Jordan Adler. When I first read it almost two years ago, it literally caused me to well up as I could completely identify with Jordan’s words.
We’ve all experienced the struggles to some degree.
This folks, is why we do the things we do and make the sacrifices necessary to succeed in our industry. Enjoy!
Being An Entrepreneur
Being an Entrepreneur is tough but it has great rewards. Successful entrepreneurs call their own shots. They can make as much money as they want to. They can work as much or as little as they want to.
They get to exercise their creativity. They can work alone or with a team. They get to create their future . . .
As an Entrepreneur, I have been able to do things that 17 years in Corporate America wouldn’t afford me. I have traveled the world in private jets. I’ve eaten at the finest restaurants where each person dropped $500 per plate. I have friends in all 50 states and many around the world.
I’ve rented private yachts and cruised the canals in Amsterdam with over 50 people. I’ve stayed in Castles in Scotland, Drank beer in the pubs in Ireland and took a tour of Iceland.
Being an Entrepreneur has allowed me to live my dream life in the Mountains of Arizona where the air is mountain fresh and the hummingbirds buzz around my deck in the morning as I drink coffee as the cool morning breezes blow in from the valley.
Being an Entrepreneur is great. Its really great. But its also got some challenges and a price tag. Its a small price in retrospect, but when you are paying for it can be overwhelming.
Sometimes, in fact, many times, you question whether its worth it. Wondering whether you can pay the bills next month. Taking calculated risks knowing that things might not go in your favor. Risking bankruptcy. Losing some friendships (and even family) that never quite understand you. Losing Sleep. Stressing out. Wondering. Imagining. Creating.
It takes very special and rare qualities to succeed as an Entrepreneur. You do it even though you know some don’t make it. You do it knowing that you might not make it.
But you do it anyway, because you want the freedom it can give you. You want to control your destiny. You want pride of ownership. You want to be recognized. You don’t want to be told what to do. You want to make a difference.

Are You Fooling Yourself About Network Marketing and MLM?
The Real Problem with Network Marketing and Multi-Level Marketing ( MLM )
HINT: It’s not the business model itself
It never ceases to amaze me the extreme polar views on the topic of network marketing and MLM. Some people are passionate about it in the extreme, and there are even top celebrity authors like Robert Allen, Mark Victor Hansen, and Robert Kiyosaki doing it and advocating it. Yet, in many circles, you might as well declare yourself a leper as admit to being in network marketing.
So, what is the problem with MLM and network marketing?

Maybe it’s the pyramid structure? But you can’t really take issue with the tiered compensation structure—almost every large sales organization in the world has that. Salespeople get commission, and sales managers get overrides or bonuses on top of that, and sales directors on top of that, and VPs on top of that. Or maybe it’s the fact that you have to pay to participate in it? But that can’t be it—that’s a standard franchising model. And I assure you, the franchise fee of most traditional franchises dwarf the sign-up cost of any MLM program by comparison. Continue reading →
